As we celebrate Hannah’s first year at Luminos we sat down with her for a quick coffee and catch up on her first 12 months as part of our team. From award nominations to standout client wins Hannah reflects on memorable moments – talking global delivery, transformative projects and talent trends.
1 year at Luminos Hannah – what have been your highlights?
“Team moments have definitely been a highlight, especially our trip to London for the Global Recruiter Awards, where we were nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ in our very first year. It was a great chance to step back, reflect on how far we’ve come, and celebrate what we’ve built together.
Another standout has been helping clients land the senior-level hires who truly transform their businesses. It’s incredibly rewarding to play a role in outcomes that make a real impact.
Recently, we created a brand wall showcasing all the organisations we’ve supported, globally, since launch, from high-street names to niche startups and charities. Seeing that spread reminded me just how varied and exciting our work really is.”
Any projects that really stood out?
“One recent project with a cybersecurity client based in central Europe, really stands out for me. They needed someone for a highly specialised role, in a specific location, with very little wiggle room on requirements. It was a tough brief, but a rewarding one. It pushed me to dig deep, quickly build expertise in the sector, and stay persistent. We eventually found the ideal candidate, a perfect fit and both the client and candidate were thrilled. That’s the kind of outcome that makes the effort worth it.”
What new Talent Research trends are you seeing?
“More and more clients are turning to Talent Search as a smarter, more flexible alternative to traditional Executive Search. They’re looking for cost-effective solutions that still deliver top-tier results, whether it’s succession planning, hard-to-fill roles, or innovative ways to reach untapped talent pools. We’re seeing growing recognition of Talent Research as a strategic, not just transactional, service and it’s exciting to be part of that shift.”
