The challenge
Our client, a major British high street retailer, prioritises diversity & inclusion and understands how important it is to ensure that everyone who works and shops with the brand feels represented. As part of this diversity & inclusion ethos and alongside increasing gender equality across its teams, it is committed to reaching at least 15% ethnic minority representation in its senior management in 2025.
We were tasked with supporting this goal within four key departments of the organisation to benchmark levels of diversity when it came to ethnic minority representation in mid to senior level roles within ten target organisations.
The brand also wanted to understand how its competitors were approaching diversity & inclusion strategies to benchmark progress, as well as how it could approach identifying and attracting a more diverse talent pool.
