Sector: Pharmaceuticals

Location: Eastern Europe

The challenge

We partnered with our client, a global pharmaceutical company on helping them to attract and engage a HR Director for the Central and Eastern Europe Region, as well as finding 2 roles at Senior HR Business Partner level to report into the HR Director.

The roles were confidential in nature as the requirement was as a result of a restructure within the HR Function. There were some internal candidates and the client was interested to see how they compared against the external market, therefore the need for confidentiality.

The roles were to be based in Romania.

What we delivered

We took a detailed brief from the Group HR Director and from the Central and Eastern Europe Business Leader who provided us with the context of the roles and outlined their ideal requirements.

Our role was to uncover individuals either in Romania, or who could work remotely with travel to Romania, based within the Central and Eastern European region. We could also look for those willing to relocate in order to widen the talent pool.

Our search was based on individuals who had experience of working within similar organisations, with a similar employee base, both in terms of numbers and in terms of dealing with both technical and operational individuals.

Our engagement phase was done confidentially, so candidates were informed of some aspects of our client profile, but not provided with full details.

Outcomes

We were able to provide our client with a talent pool of candidates that they could compare against their internal talent. We then helped them to move forward in the process, disclosing information to relevant candidates and gaining their engagement with the client and specific roles.

Our client was able to make an assessment of the full range of candidates available to them and successfully moved forward with offers to multiple candidates. This was cost saving and also meant they saved time.
